Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Evaluate requirements, propose solutions, and explore design tradeoffs.
- Design algorithms and develop real-time embedded software for resource-constrained platforms.
- Analyze designs and execute software tests to verify performance and compliance with requirements.
- Troubleshoot problems, determine root causes, and develop solutions.
- Prepare technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other documentation.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders about requirements, designs, and deliverables.
- Contribute to requirements development, architecture ideation, technical risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
- Apply automated builds, continuous integration testing, static code analysis, and basic security hardening.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and collaborate with hardware, systems, and cybersecurity teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience developing and troubleshooting software on embedded targets and real-time systems.
- Mastery of high-level development languages such as C, C++, or Rust.
- Knowledge of operating-system coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems.
- Knowledge of software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review processes.
- Experience with UML/SysML, in-circuit emulators, JTAG debuggers, and laboratory test equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
