Base Salary
$125k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android and Android Automotive OS middleware systems from the front end through the Hardware Abstraction Layer.
- Work across the full stack to develop new products, features, and tools.
- Design efficient and effective solutions to a broad range of engineering challenges.
- Ship complex software in fast-paced environments with infrastructure, automotive, graphics, and other engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in Android or iOS mobile app development.
- Experience programming in C++ and Java.
- Familiarity with common data structures and algorithms, design patterns, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of the Android framework, custom Android HALs, services, and SDK add-ons.
- Ability to quickly become comfortable with new technical tools and programming languages.
- Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and/or Android Automotive OS (AAOS) is preferred.
- Experience in Android platform development is preferred.
