Base Salary
$99k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assemble complex datasets to support AI/ML algorithm implementation.
- Build infrastructure and ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from varied sources.
- Curate and maintain data used for metrics and evaluation.
- Implement AI/ML algorithms for LLM, NLP, predictive analytics, and other customer applications.
- Redesign infrastructure for scalability, optimize data delivery, automate manual processes, and improve internal processes.
- Develop software within a multidisciplinary team using version control and Agile methodologies.
- Potentially lead interdisciplinary teams of researchers and software developers and contribute to proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience, preferably in data engineering, data science, machine learning engineering, or software development.
- Experience developing data pipelines and normalizing data with Python packages such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars.
- Experience working with version control such as Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with polygraph.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD, experience with GitLab, DevSecOps, test-driven development, containers, AWS, Spark, and PySpark.
- Preferred experience includes LLMs, transformer architectures, NLP algorithms such as BERT, reinforcement learning, clustering, deep neural networks, tracking and pattern-of-life algorithms, GenAI Ops, ML libraries, Linux, cloud resources, additional programming languages, CUDA/GPU development, deployment, virtualization, containerization, and proposal writing.
