Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs.
- Contribute to application systems analysis and programming activities.
- Design, build, and maintain Java applications using microservices architecture.
- Apply Java concurrency techniques, including thread management, synchronization, and concurrent data structures.
- Develop and maintain applications with the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot.
- Debug complex systems and solve technical problems.
- Use version control and related development, database, containerization, messaging, and deployment technologies as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java.
- Deep knowledge of core Java, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining microservices-based applications.
- Strong expertise in Java concurrency, including thread management, synchronization, and concurrent data structures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
- Experience with the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Preferred experience with MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Redis.
- Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred knowledge of Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ and event-driven architecture.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred understanding of REST and gRPC API design principles.
