Base Salary
$85k - $118k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deliver, and enhance software applications supporting business-critical systems.
- Analyze code and applications to identify system enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
- Install, support, test, debug, and troubleshoot applications and customer-facing systems.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Develop solutions using Java, microservices, RESTful APIs, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
- Operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and serve as a subject matter expert to stakeholders.
- Assess and manage technology risks while maintaining compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in an application development role with Java microservices expertise.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Working experience with UI or Angular is a plus.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools and Git-based version control.
- Experience running high-traffic, distributed, cloud-based services.
- Experience leading infrastructure programs and working with third-party service providers.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
