Responsibilities
- Provision, maintain, and scale reliable AWS infrastructure using ECS, EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM.
- Automate infrastructure delivery and manage state, security policies, and drift control with CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Buildkite and GitHub Actions.
- Operate monitoring, dashboards, and alerting systems with Datadog.
- Support Docker-based workflows and runtime services built with Ruby on Rails, React, and adjacent microservices.
- Apply least-privilege principles, participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and perform root cause analysis.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Strong hands-on experience operating production infrastructure on AWS.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tooling; CloudFormation experience is preferred and strong Terraform experience is highly valued.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as AWS ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
- Experience building and troubleshooting release pipelines with GitHub Actions, Buildkite, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Working knowledge of production monitoring, logging, and tracing practices using tools such as Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Splunk.
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and operational automation experience with Bash or Python.
- Advanced or fluent English communication skills.
- Prior Ruby on Rails and React production support, fintech or regulated-environment experience, OIDC cloud authentication, HashiCorp Vault, Trivy, Snyk, PagerDuty, or structured SLA/SLO experience are preferred.
