Base Salary
$139k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead design reviews and drive architecture within the team.
- Define and own SLIs/SLOs to improve reliability.
- Implement advanced optimizations and quantify their impact.
- Strengthen incident posture through capacity planning and autoscaling.
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate coding/testing standards.
- Own an area spanning multiple services and teams for IC4 level.
Requirements
- 3-5 years (IC3) or 5-8 years (IC4) of experience in building distributed systems or cloud services.
- Strong coding skills in Python or Go; C++ is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at production scale.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and observability stacks like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Practical knowledge of inference internals such as batching and caching.
- Proven track record of improving service reliability through metrics-driven work.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
