Base Salary
$153k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement new security features and develop secure libraries for security-critical code shared across applications.
- Support security design and scoping initiatives by identifying tasks, estimating work, and planning delivery.
- Code, test, debug, deliver, and maintain production software systems and product features.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for management and developers on security development and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with Design, QA, security engineering, and other teams across the product architecture.
- Mentor junior and new team members through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and pair programming.
- Review code, maintain quality, share knowledge, and promote constructive feedback.
- Stay current with security development trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- At least four years of software development experience with a security focus, including modern encryption techniques and libraries or authentication protocols.
- At least four years of hands-on Windows security development experience using technologies such as Rust, C#, C/C++, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience developing in Rust and creating FFI interfaces, especially for Windows, plus knowledge of Windows OS architecture and platform-specific optimization.
- Familiarity with TPM and HSM functionality and proven experience with Windows Hello, BitLocker, Secure Boot, and Credential Guard.
- Strong understanding of security domains including cryptography, network security, application security, threat vectors, and access control mechanisms.
- Practical experience with Agentic AI Model capabilities and workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, and solution-design skills.
- Experience with SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect is a bonus.
- Experience working on a SaaS product, leading software development in a team environment, and using GitHub or GitLab and CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
- Experience with system analysis and performance monitoring tools such as DataDog, SemGrep, SonarQube, or Fortify is a bonus.
