Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust cloud platforms using AWS and related cloud technologies.
- Enhance monitoring and diagnostics to support platform availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with organizational goals.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues to ensure platform stability and scalability.
- Lead implementation of platform solutions that streamline software development workflows.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative platform engineering environment.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in platform engineering or DevOps.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS and Azure, with Google Cloud knowledge considered desirable.
- Advanced experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with Packer/Image Builder.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
- Experience integrating SonarQube, Veracode, Snyk, and StackHawk security scanning tools into CI/CD workflows.
- At least 2 years of application development experience using Python and a scripting language, including hands-on code reviews.
- Desirable qualifications include AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications or knowledge; immutable infrastructure and autoscaling experience; observability and monitoring experience; GitOps and progressive delivery experience; Windows and Linux operations experience; and knowledge of DNS, load balancers, reverse proxies, Microsoft Active Directory, and ADFS.
