Base Salary
$210k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, validation, packaging, and production deployments.
- Build, scan, sign, and publish Docker container images and integrate applications into automated delivery pipelines.
- Deploy, configure, and operate production Kubernetes applications using Helm or Kustomize.
- Implement GitOps workflows with Argo CD, Flux, or comparable technologies and maintain version-controlled configurations.
- Design infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation using Terraform, Ansible, or comparable tools.
- Write Bash and Python automation scripts and automate environment creation and maintenance across development, testing, and production.
- Implement observability for metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or Splunk.
- Design and test backup, restoration, rollback, and disaster recovery procedures aligned with RPO and RTO targets.
- Integrate security scanning and validation into build and deployment pipelines and support secure container operations.
- Contribute to platform architecture, operational standards, documentation, MVP delivery, and future platform expansion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and operating production cloud-native platforms in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
- Demonstrated experience designing and building GitLab CI/CD pipelines with automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Hands-on production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience managing Kubernetes applications with Helm or Kustomize and implementing GitOps with Argo CD or Flux.
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or comparable tools.
- Proficiency with Bash and Python automation scripting.
- Experience implementing or maintaining a production observability stack such as Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or Splunk.
- Preferred experience includes AWS and EKS, container supply-chain security, vulnerability scanning, image signing, SBOMs, deployment strategies, automated rollback, PostgreSQL or Redis recovery, RPO/RTO, SLOs, capacity planning, multi-tenant platforms, distributed tracing, DevSecOps, and enterprise modernization.
