Base Salary
$141k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality web or mobile software across requirements, design, coding, documentation, and release activities.
- Perform approximately 80–95% hands-on coding.
- Participate in peer reviews of estimates, designs, and code.
- Resolve defects and bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patching.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional Intuit groups to deliver commitments.
- Apply and grow technical skills while supporting customers and positive team dynamics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.
- Experience with one or more object-oriented languages, including Java/J2EE, C#, VB.NET, Python, or C++.
- Understanding of web services such as REST or SOAP.
- Understanding of unit testing and Test Driven Development.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, solve problems, communicate effectively, and partner across teams.
- Experience with Agile Development, Scrum, and/or Extreme Programming is stated as relevant experience.
Benefits
- Expected Mountain View base pay is $140,500–$190,000 annually.
- Position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits under applicable plans and programs.
- Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
