Base Salary
$130k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance, reliable, and scalable integrations with EHRs, insurance providers, and other healthcare systems.
- Build workflows that fetch and write Encounter and Appointment data across healthcare systems using HL7 and related interoperability standards.
- Use LLM technology to automate reverse-engineering of electronic health records.
- Own integration workflows from design and development through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and post-launch improvement.
- Contribute to integration architecture, technical direction, tools, technologies, testing, error handling, version control, and continuous integration.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, healthcare, DevOps, QA, and security teams on requirements, monitoring, alerting, reliability, and data protection.
- Ensure integrations meet healthcare compliance and security standards and proactively resolve production performance and reliability issues.
- Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software development industry experience.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in backend languages including Python, Go, or C++.
- Experience with Git, GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring or alerting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions and make successful architectural decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
