Base Salary

$120k - $218k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and evaluation of solutions for document processing, intelligent agents, automation frameworks, and data-driven workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable data and AI solutions.
  • Build reusable frameworks, libraries, components, evaluation pipelines, and orchestration workflows to accelerate enterprise adoption.
  • Define and evolve data architecture patterns for fund accounting, custody, reference data, and related financial-services domains.
  • Model investment data concepts including NAV, positions, transactions, cash, income, corporate actions, securities, accounts, and party/reference data.
  • Establish data lineage, integration standards, quality controls, reconciliation controls, governance, and secure deployment practices.
  • Prioritize initiatives, manage delivery timelines, align work with enterprise goals, and guide teams and stakeholders.
  • Balance domain expertise, engineering discipline, platform reuse, performance, security, and client delivery needs in architecture decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of overall IT delivery experience, including 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML and data engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Python, Apache Spark, PySpark, and Databricks for large-scale data processing and AI model development.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and evaluating machine learning and generative AI models using OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure OpenAI, and LangChain.
  • Experience with FastAPI, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, distributed systems, orchestration tools, and API integration; Java experience is a plus.
  • Strong software engineering foundation in object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience building reusable components, libraries, frameworks, scalable pipelines, and AI evaluation systems.
  • Understanding of responsible AI and technology practices, including fairness, transparency, safety, security, compliance, and explainability.
  • Deep understanding of fund accounting, custody, reference data, data modeling, lineage, reconciliation, quality, and governance in regulated financial-services environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows or agents, influence cross-functional stakeholders, communicate effectively, work independently, and guide teams under general supervision.
  • Experience using Fiddler and Postman for API development and debugging.
