Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend microservices and APIs.
- Own the maintenance and evolution of key service domains, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with technical strategy.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and game teams to translate requirements into technical deliverables and milestones.
- Optimize infrastructure and runtime costs while maintaining a seamless player experience.
- Drive refactoring, workflow automation, and legacy-system modernization to reduce technical debt.
Requirements
- Require 3–8+ years of experience designing and building backend systems and microservices with Go or Java.
- Require knowledge of HTTP, gRPC, API design, relational and NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization.
- Require experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, distributed systems, and microservice design patterns.
- Require familiarity with monitoring, logging, observability, authentication, authorization, secure coding, and compliance frameworks.
- Require a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prefer experience with Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, AWS, GCP, online service platforms, or backend systems for AAA games.
- Value gaming passion, product-oriented problem solving, ownership, communication, and collaboration.
