Responsibilities
- Architect, build, deploy, and support complex data and generative AI solutions on GCP.
- Develop production-grade RAG pipelines, conversational AI applications, chatbots, agentic workflows, and multi-agent systems.
- Design and operate Python REST APIs with containerized deployment on Cloud Run.
- Build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Python, SQL, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.
- Develop and optimize BigQuery queries and automate data quality and ETL testing.
- Define cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security checks, vulnerability scanning, and controlled environment promotion.
- Own IAM, least-privilege access, encryption, secrets management, audit logging, data protection, and compliance controls.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex L3 production issues and provide technical guidance on architecture and engineering decisions.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of IT experience as a hands-on engineer designing, building, deploying, and supporting large-scale production data systems.
- Deep proficiency in Python and advanced SQL, including complex query optimization and data modeling.
- Extensive hands-on experience building production solutions on GCP; Azure or AWS experience is valuable.
- Production mastery of BigQuery, Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow, and Cloud Run.
- Proficiency with Terraform and robust CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, automated testing, vulnerability scanning, and environment-based release strategies.
- Strong knowledge of modern data patterns, distributed systems, and architectural best practices.
- Hands-on experience building conversational AI solutions with Dialogflow CX or CX Agent Studio.
- Extensive experience with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, including agent configuration, integration, evaluation, security, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proven experience building and deploying production-grade RAG systems, with understanding of LLMs, vector databases, and embedding models.
- Practical experience developing agentic AI applications, complex workflows, agentic patterns, and multi-agent systems using the Google Agent Development Kit; knowledge of A2A protocol and agent cards is desirable.
- Experience operationalizing AI models and hosting applications with Docker containers.
