Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex performance issues that internal performance testing teams have been unable to address.
- Analyze software development processes, system architecture, and distributed systems for performance risks.
- Lead performance testing, validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection efforts.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align performance goals with business objectives.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members on performance engineering principles.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Kong Konnect.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and architectural principles related to performance.
- Experience with performance testing methodologies and validation techniques.
- Ability to conduct capacity planning and forecast resource requirements.
- Skill with application performance management tools and problem detection strategies.
- Competence diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues in distributed systems.
- 15 years of full-time education.
