Responsibilities
- Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web-based applications.
- Perform functional, SIT, regression, UAT, API, and database testing, including backend validation with SQL queries.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners and participate in sprint ceremonies, test planning, and release activities.
- Use Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, documentation, and test management.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong experience with manual testing, API testing, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with functional, SIT, regression, and UAT testing.
- Knowledge of Selenium Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Preferred: exposure to automation framework development, experience in banking, capital markets, or financial services, and understanding of CI/CD and modern QA practices.
