Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain automation suites for diverse testing scenarios.
  • Develop deterministic automation cycles and expand test coverage.
  • Create comprehensive test strategies and plans covering all layers of the test pyramid.
  • Perform complex end-to-end and feature testing while identifying and mitigating quality risks.
  • Use data analysis and metrics to identify root causes, track progress, and assess quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to align quality initiatives with business objectives.
  • Advise teammates and stakeholders on automation practices, testing solutions, and difficult quality matters.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an SDET role.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Pact, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Experience testing complex systems, features, and end-to-end workflows.
  • Ability to write test specifications and design validation and testability into code.
  • Understanding of n-tier architecture and related testing strategies.
  • Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle and Application Development Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong organization and attention to detail.
