Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, refine, and scale agent systems from architecture through deployment.
- Implement multi-step, tool-using agents that call real APIs and handle retries, authentication, timeouts, and edge cases.
- Design agent memory systems for persistent state, memory migrations, context organization, and orchestration state.
- Create proactive agents that perform work and send reminders.
- Own and evolve automated and human-in-the-loop evaluation frameworks, including success metrics and regression testing.
- Collaborate across infrastructure, frontend, and product to improve agent response times, predictability, traceability, and uptime.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of engineering experience, including experience shipping production software.
- Experience building and deploying agent-like systems such as multi-step LLM pipelines, tool-using bots, or scripted assistants.
- Hands-on experience with agent orchestration, memory management, tool use, API integrations, authentication flows, and evaluation.
- Ability to write production-grade code and work across systems without requiring a detailed specification.
