Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents that autonomously plan, reason, and execute multi-step tasks using large language models, tool-use frameworks, and SAP Business AI.
- Validate AI agent use cases through proof-of-concepts and measure task completion accuracy, latency, cost, and safety guardrails.
- Use SAP AI Software as a Service to build and deploy models into scalable production APIs on SAP’s Business Technology Platform.
- Explore emerging AI and technology trends aligned with SAP’s strategy.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities including design, coding, testing, and production release as part of a global IT delivery team.
Requirements
- Be an active university student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Have hands-on proficiency with Python, Java or JavaScript, and React.js.
- Have knowledge of current AI industry trends, prompt engineering, data pipelines, and coding standards for LLM application development.
- Be familiar with interoperability protocols such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) or A2A (Agent-to-Agent).
- Exposure to an agent orchestration framework such as LangGraph, LangChain, or an equivalent is a plus.
- Familiarity with agentic AI patterns, tool use, ReAct loops, planning, memory management, and multi-step task orchestration is desirable.
- Demonstrate English communication skills, independent problem-solving ability, teamwork, and interest in coding and innovation.
