Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Lead cloud network security initiatives including segmentation and traffic inspection.
- Build and deploy AI-driven security automation for detecting and remediating security findings.
- Develop intelligent guardrails for CI/CD pipelines to enforce security policies.
- Implement and manage data security controls like encryption and tokenization.
- Lead applied cryptography efforts including PKI design and secrets management.
- Operate Tier-0 production systems and participate in incident response.
- Conduct security design reviews and architecture risk assessments.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed secure practices in the software lifecycle.
- Research and introduce modern cloud security technologies.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers in cloud networking and security automation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering or related roles.
- Strong expertise in core cloud networking and security principles.
- Deep understanding of zero trust principles and micro-segmentation.
- Proven experience securing large-scale AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
- Hands-on experience building security automation using Python or Go.
- Practical experience applying AI to automate security operations.
- Experience operating mission-critical production systems.
- Ability to perform threat modeling and architecture reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Clear communication skills to influence technical teams and leadership.
