Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to develop a migration strategy.
- Evaluate PCF applications for Azure AKS compatibility.
- Containerize applications for Azure AKS deployment.
- Manage configuration and deployment on Azure AKS.
- Develop automation scripts for application deployment.
- Ensure security and compliance of migrated applications.
- Set up monitoring and scaling solutions for applications.
- Create documentation for migration processes and best practices.
- Work with architects and developers to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 8-10 years of overall experience in cloud migrations.
- Hands-on experience migrating applications from PCF to Azure AKS.
- Strong understanding of Azure services and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools like PowerShell or Python.
- Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
