Base Salary
$120k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Prototype, customize, and refine generative AI and LLM-powered capabilities.
- Develop agentic AI systems involving model selection, agent creation, tool calling, response synthesis, and background agents.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver operational AI systems.
- Automate model deployment workflows using infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.
- Monitor deployed AI systems, tune performance, and apply reliability and scalability best practices.
- Write clean, documented, reproducible code aligned with industry and federal guidelines.
- Stay current with AI and machine learning trends and participate in mentorship and technical design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI/ML, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of hands-on experience delivering AI/ML solutions.
- Experience with generative AI, LLMs, and tool calls using MCP.
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as Agent2Agent Protocol, Mastra, Strands, AgentCore, and/or Gemini Agent Platform.
- Deep understanding of OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Bedrock AI APIs.
- TypeScript proficiency and familiarity with Nx, NextJS, Mastra, Vercel AI SDK, Playwright, Jest, and Vite.
- Python proficiency and familiarity with uv, Pydantic, FastAPI, CrewAI, LangChain, LangGraph, and Unstructured.
- Experience deploying applications with AWS or GCP and using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI pipelines and AI coding tools including Claude Code, Codex, and Antigravity.
- Strong communication skills and a client-oriented mindset.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance.
- Preferred exposure to data engineering, data science, UI/UX, cloud engineering, platform engineering, Terraform, Open Tofu, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, federal cybersecurity, RMF, FedRAMP, or regulatory frameworks.
