Base Salary

$170k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure enterprise software, APIs, microservices, and services.
  • Design cloud-native software architectures and contribute to architecture decisions across the technology stack.
  • Support containerized deployment, CI/CD, cloud modernization, legacy-system automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational sustainment.
  • Build and integrate generative AI, LLM, RAG, and agentic workflow capabilities into production systems using approved AI platforms.
  • Develop forecasting, modeling, analytics, and decision-support tools that translate operational data into mission-focused insights.
  • Translate complex requirements into production-ready software while collaborating with analysts, stakeholders, engineers, AI specialists, and Government partners.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship and help establish engineering standards.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
  • 15 years of directly related professional experience in software engineering, application development, systems engineering, automation, or related technical disciplines.
  • Recent hands-on production software development experience in one or more of Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications and services.
  • Experience with APIs, distributed systems, microservices, or service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with software architecture, object-oriented design, and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience deploying containerized or cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems and developing mission-focused software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, technical writing, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI-enabled application development, agentic AI frameworks, orchestration platforms, intelligent automation, analytics, forecasting, optimization, or decision-support capabilities.
