Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit test source code based on business requirements.
- Own delivery of applications and collaborate with global product and QA stakeholders.
- Create technical artifacts and lead technical and design reviews.
- Improve project processes by proposing innovative solutions.
- Lead responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools, including review, validation, measurement, and secure data-handling practices.
- Coach software engineers on compliant and effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Communicate ideas clearly, provide guidance on daily engineering work, and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Anticipate cross-team dependencies and deliver products in accordance with business requirements, compliance standards, and service-level agreements.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 8+ years of applied experience.
- Strong UI development skills using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-driven web frameworks.
- Experience leading responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools across engineering teams.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, resiliency, security, and governance considerations in engineering workflows.
- Strong object-oriented analysis and design, design principles, design patterns, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
- Working knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience with UI unit-testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, modern front-end technologies, cloud technologies, and Spring Boot.
- Ability to multitask and work independently to meet committed deadlines.
