Responsibilities
- Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and test strategies for functional and non-functional testing.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute manual and automated testing activities, including test data generation and defect management.
- Design, write, maintain, reuse, and retire manual and automated test cases using test design techniques and Gherkin syntax.
- Develop and execute automated tests for backend, web, desktop, and mobile applications.
- Apply continuous, performance, security, regression, certification, and other non-functional testing practices.
- Manage test data across multiple environments and monitor test results and incidents.
- Track defects through resolution and identify risks, impediments, dependencies, and corrective actions.
- Define and execute post-production validation and ratification plans.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
- ISTQB certification or knowledge, plus knowledge of testing techniques and test case design.
- Experience with BDD, Gherkin syntax, test strategy definition, and test execution.
- Experience automating backend, web, desktop, and mobile testing.
- Experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate DSL, Serenity, Cucumber, Jira, and Xray.
- Knowledge of Appium, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Postman, Dynatrace, OWASP, and MongoDB.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify risks, propose solutions, and collaborate in agile teams.
- Desirable knowledge includes DevSecOps for testing, programming for test automation, configuration management, version control, branching strategies, test data management, test design patterns, mobile functional testing, performance testing, security testing, and mobile non-functional testing.
