Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and create YAML-based CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Provision and manage Azure resources using Terraform or Bicep.
- Perform root cause analysis for deployment failures and production infrastructure outages.
- Configure Azure RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault secrets, and network security groups.
- Set up and monitor application health using Azure Monitor and Application Insights or other tools.
- Manage Azure PaaS and IaaS services, including application, infrastructure, database, storage, and Kubernetes environments.
- Automate cloud operations with Azure CLI, PowerShell, Python, Git branching strategies, and SonarQube.
- Deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes containers and maintain IIS and application configuration logs.
- Optimize cloud costs through virtual machine rightsizing, idle disk cleanup, and FinOps practices.
- Guide development teams on cloud and DevOps best practices and maintain architecture and runbook documentation.
- Build and deploy applications, configure and test technical architecture components, and resolve defects and performance issues.
- Deploy QAT and UAT environments and maintain the integrity of development, test, QA, and staging environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing coordination, process improvements, technical automation, and team status reporting.
- Support and upskill less experienced team members.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, Azure cloud services, infrastructure as code, automation, monitoring, and cloud security controls.
- Proficiency with Azure CLI, PowerShell, Python, Git branching strategies, and SonarQube.
- Basic-to-intermediate knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes container deployments.
- Experience with application builds, deployments, testing, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and production infrastructure support.
