Responsibilities
- Develop applications in C and Embedded C++ for embedded-system requirements.
- Develop driver software for controllers and processors.
- Work with embedded systems, build toolchains, microcontrollers, and processor-based products.
- Perform debugging, static code analysis, code reviews, and source-control version management.
- Develop command-line, web, and GUI user interfaces.
- Use unit-testing frameworks in Python and code-inspection workflows with Gerrit.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics or Electronics and Communication, or equivalent.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing microcontroller- and processor-based products.
- Expertise building projects in C and C++.
- Experience with embedded systems and build toolchains.
- Ability to debug, solve problems analytically, write new drivers, and apply operating-system concepts.
- Experience with Python unit-testing frameworks and exposure to JIRA and Gerrit.
- Object-oriented C++ development experience is an added advantage.
