Responsibilities
- Build internal tools, workflows, and lightweight applications for engineering and non-engineering teams.
- Design and implement integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and technology needs.
- Translate ideas into clear technical plans and pragmatic, maintainable solutions.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy options and automate manual processes involving spreadsheets, approvals, documents, CMSs, email flows, and internal operations.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, integrations, and data flows.
- Define lightweight intake, scoping, and ownership practices for internal requests.
- Ensure solutions are secure, documented, and aligned with engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a software engineer.
- Strong full-stack skills and the ability to build end-to-end solutions with limited supervision.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and business workflows.
- Good judgment when choosing between custom development, SaaS, automation tooling, and manual solutions.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments with incompletely defined requirements.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Pragmatic, ownership-oriented approach to delivering useful solutions and moving initiatives forward.
- Preferred experience includes internal tools or operational platforms, CMS and document workflows, Adobe Sign, Google Workspace, Salesforce, HubSpot, automation or workflow tools, Angular, Node.js, Python, SQL, REST APIs, low-code or no-code options, cloud environments, and deploying internal services.
