Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Industrial Data Platforms using Cognite Data Fusion for energy and utility clients.
- Architect solutions for asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, digital twins, operational intelligence, and sustainability initiatives.
- Integrate OT systems including SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and Historians with ERP, EAM, GIS, Data Lakes, and cloud ecosystems.
- Define enterprise data models, data contextualization strategies, and industrial data governance frameworks.
- Lead Energy Transition use cases involving renewable asset management, grid modernization, reliability improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Provide cloud, edge, and enterprise integration architecture leadership aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Establish solution governance, architecture standards, and best practices across large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Advise client executives on IIoT, industrial data strategy, OT/IT convergence, and digital transformation roadmaps.
- Mentor solution architects, engineering teams, and delivery organizations.
- Support solution development, client engagement, pursuit support, and strategic advisory services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 15+ years of experience with Cognite Data Fusion and a strong project track record.
- Demonstrated P&L contribution to sales.
- MBA strongly preferred.
- Strong customer orientation, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to shape compelling solutions and solve unstructured problems using assumptions and sound judgment.
- Ability to collaborate with multicultural and multifunctional teams across geographies.
- Strong executive presence, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Ability to build consensus and achieve goals through collaboration rather than direct line authority.
