Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable full-stack applications with Node.js and React for investment operations and business intelligence.
- Develop APIs and microservices that integrate with enterprise systems and create responsive interfaces for Research, Strategy, and Transaction teams.
- Architect and maintain Infrastructure as Code, cloud resources, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and container orchestration.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or similar platforms while maintaining code quality and security.
- Provide technical guidance on architecture, coding standards, and AI development practices; conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Expertise in Python and Node.js backend development, including Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
- Strong React skills, including modern hooks, state management, Redux, Context API, and component architecture.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including networking, security, storage, and compute services.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and experience integrating AI code generation into development workflows.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS; RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, CI/CD tools, and Git.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, independent-work, collaboration, and project-delivery abilities.
- Real estate investment or financial business-process knowledge is preferred, and RAG or MCP development experience is a plus.
