Responsibilities
- Create and modify MEDITECH NPR reports and extracts using the proprietary report writer tool.
- Analyze, implement, support, and optimize MEDITECH NPR reports, extracts, and Expanse Power BI solutions.
- Support Promoting Interoperability regulatory requirements and author MEDITECH Product Work Requests.
- Define requirements, design functional solutions, resolve issues, and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership, routine maintenance, documentation, training for junior team members, and on-call operational support.
- Collaborate with business operations, IT leadership, hospital teams, project teams, internal teams, and vendors.
Requirements
- Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, debugging, and report optimization skills.
- Experience reviewing and understanding report design and development, data dictionaries, data storage, data extraction, and custom interfaces.
- Knowledge of clinical workflows and the ability to translate data needs into accurate reports.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, customer service, and issue-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet delivery dates.
- Preferred experience includes MEDITECH NPR report writing, Magic language, MEDITECH Magic and Expanse clinical applications, Power BI, and Active Directory.
