Responsibilities
- Drive infrastructure automation and configuration management across 2,000+ VMs, dozens of Kubernetes clusters, and 600+ on-premises servers across 120+ datacenters.
- Collaborate with global teams on security, networking, and platform standards.
- Implement GitOps practices for deployments, drift management, and a developer portal.
- Design scalable solutions with internal customers and product stakeholders and help define and plan multiple projects.
- Participate in on-call shifts using clear operational support processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience managing on-premises Kubernetes clusters at scale and deep proficiency with Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with Proxmox and/or VMware, virtualization, and containerization technologies including QEMU, KVM, LXC, and Docker.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, CI/CD tooling, and secrets management with HashiCorp Vault.
- Background in distributed systems; networking and routing experience is desirable.
- Additional strengths include Kafka and ClickHouse experience, willingness to work with agile methodologies, teamwork, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
