Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define product features, refine system architecture, and influence product strategy for AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, high-performance solutions meeting availability, performance, and security requirements.
- Participate in product definition, architecture reviews, iterative development, code reviews, and the full software development life cycle.
- Develop automation testing to verify functionality as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to support operational excellence.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object-Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
