Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable frontend applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Deliver features end to end, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to frontend modernisation initiatives and improve coding standards, testing practices, and development automation.
- Collaborate with product, UX, backend, QA, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure reliable delivery.
- Improve application reliability, performance, observability, and scalability, and diagnose complex technical issues.
- Contribute to tools, processes, architectural decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally 8–10 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong experience with full-stack development using a modern backend framework or language.
- Proven experience delivering complex software products in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of web performance, UI architecture, and accessibility.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience working with distributed and cross-functional engineering teams.
