Responsibilities
- Own cloud and platform engineering, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, availability, scalability, and performance.
- Design and maintain observability systems covering logging, monitoring, alerting, and SLO/SLI frameworks.
- Design, implement, and maintain fast, safe, and repeatable software delivery pipelines.
- Manage hybrid infrastructure spanning traditional data centers, on-premises services, and cloud environments.
- Implement cloud security controls, compliance practices, patching processes, and AppSec integrations.
- Define Catapult’s global cloud platform roadmap and establish reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns and engineering standards.
- Embed automated security guardrails, compliance auditing, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Influence stakeholders across engineering, security, and finance and lead cross-functional platform improvements.
Requirements
- Significant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering, including technical leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in AWS and associated cloud security and compliance practices.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
- Proven experience redesigning platforms and architecting new cloud infrastructure based on software and business requirements.
- Solid understanding of AppSec and integrating security into build and deployment pipelines.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Experience working with regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and other compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influencing skills.
