Responsibilities
- Apply computer science, engineering, mathematical analysis, digital signal processing, communication systems, and software engineering concepts to software development.
- Develop and evaluate hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system designs.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded software and firmware for real-time tactical radio control.
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
Requirements
- Pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field, or have completed the degree within the last 12 months.
- Understand time-domain versus frequency-domain analysis, filter structures, and modulation and coding algorithms.
- Preferred experience or knowledge includes C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, Windows, .NET, Unix, Linux, SOA, RTOS, real-time controls, wireless, software security, robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, and embedded systems.
