Responsibilities
- Drive system design and technical planning for large, complex projects.
- Partner on architectural decisions for critical systems.
- Define and implement engineering standards and best practices.
- Design and build high-performance, distributed systems.
- Ensure observability and operational excellence across services.
- Mentor engineers and foster a strong engineering culture.
- Own and drive multi-quarter technical projects with accountability.
- Measure and communicate the business impact of technical work.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software development.
- Demonstrated architectural experience with scalable, distributed systems.
- Strong leadership track record in driving technical direction.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Deep expertise in data-intensive applications and production operations.
- Experience aligning technical decisions with business objectives.
