Responsibilities
- Design and build the core computation engine powering Pigment’s business planning platform.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to define, develop, and deliver product features.
- Optimize performance and scalability for systems processing millions of records in real time.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, experimentation, reliability improvements, code quality, testing, documentation, and observability.
- Work with experienced mentors and participate in design discussions while shipping production code.
Requirements
- Have initial experience with modern backend technologies through an internship, apprenticeship, or full-time role.
- Be comfortable with one or more of C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
- Care about code quality, testing, scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Demonstrate collaboration, communication, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Have fluent English proficiency.
