Responsibilities
- Support software engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and software development assistance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver software projects.
- Mentor team members through feedback, coaching, and career development planning.
- Contribute to software engineering strategy, strategic discussions, and technology assessments.
- Manage project tasks, assignments, prioritization, timelines, resources, budgets, and risks.
- Promote innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 6+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2+ years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Strong programming, debugging, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Prior leadership or mentoring experience and familiarity with software development best practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, plus willingness to grow in a leadership role.
- Advanced degree, relevant certifications, or training are preferred.
