Black Duck Software, Inc.Responsibilities
- Assist with deployment and configuration of Black Duck solutions in customer environments.
- Support implementation projects under the guidance of senior consultants and project leads.
- Help customers integrate Black Duck products into their software development lifecycle and DevOps workflows.
- Gather and document customer requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide implementation support.
- Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Build customer relationships and provide recommendations to improve adoption and operational efficiency.
- Support customer onboarding and post-implementation activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams.
- Provide technical feedback and maintain accurate project documentation and status updates.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering, implementation consulting, technical support, or related technical roles.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and application lifecycle management.
- Experience with one or more of Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or C/C++.
- Familiarity with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Basic understanding of application security concepts and secure development practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and development workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English.
- Ability to work effectively in a customer-facing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise software implementation, DevOps platforms, Git, application security testing, vulnerability management, software quality tools, SaaS applications, cloud technologies, consulting, professional services, technical support, or security-related training and certifications.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams is preferred.
