Responsibilities
- Own high-impact initiatives from concept through production.
- Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and frontend experiences.
- Prototype quickly and iterate based on user feedback and business impact.
- Work across different parts of the stack as company needs evolve.
- Improve engineering quality and velocity through thoughtful use of AI tooling.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and raise the engineering quality bar.
Requirements
- At least four years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience as a founder or early engineer at a startup.
- Strong product sense and a record of shipping meaningful features or products.
- Active use of LLMs and modern coding agents to improve engineering leverage.
- Ability to work across multiple technology stacks without rigid specialization.
- Strong systems design fundamentals and comfort owning production systems.
- High agency, sound judgment, comfort with ambiguity, clear communication, and low-ego collaboration.
- Applicants should provide GitHub, side projects, demos, or write-ups of products they have built.
