Responsibilities
- Assess information security processes and improve them through custom applications, scripts, automations, and AI.
- Build scaffolding and tools that improve the information security developer experience.
- Manage and improve the information security codebase and CI/CD processes.
- Develop AWS and IaaS solutions that support information security operations.
- Research and implement solutions for information security problems across KnowBe4.
- Design and build solutions addressing security and compliance gaps.
- Draft and maintain information security policies, procedures, baselines, SOPs, diagrams, and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent software development or scripting experience in information security.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant information security certifications are preferred.
- Understanding of IaaS and secure use of cloud solutions.
- Ability to write code in Python, Terraform, and Bash.
- Experience building and deploying custom applications and developing with AWS and serverless stacks.
- Experience with code repositories and source control.
- Experience developing with AI.
- Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, containers, servers, automated testing with pytest or similar, architecture design, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Linux, Mac, and ChromeOS operating systems and ability to use the Linux command line.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
