Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Automate recurring issue remediation to improve operational stability.
- Drive adoption and validation standards for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows.
- Build drop-in, AI-native components with automated upgrades for enterprise adopters.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote shared technologies and frameworks.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Advanced Python skills and hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience leading AI-assisted software development practices and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle, automation, continuous delivery, application resiliency, security, and cloud-native development.
- Technical proficiency in a discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
- Preferred: advanced Java and JavaScript skills; experience building SDKs, frameworks, or developer platforms; AI-native tooling experience; and production experience leveraging or building AI capabilities.
