Responsibilities

  • Develop software from specification through design, implementation, testing, integration, validation, and documentation.
  • Own the technical design, code quality, maintainability, and evolution of assigned software components and subsystems.
  • Contribute to system and platform architecture decisions and develop reusable, scalable software solutions.
  • Debug, integrate, test, and validate software on industrial machines and resolve issues in delivered installations.
  • Integrate third-party software components where required.
  • Conduct code reviews, manage technical debt, and improve software quality, architecture, tools, and development practices.
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, electrical, Assembly & Test, service, and project teams to translate requirements into functional solutions.
  • Mentor software engineers and provide technical expertise, training, and knowledge transfer to Assembly & Test and Service Engineers.
  • Maintain current software documentation and manuals and comply with applicable quality, security, safety, business continuity, and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing software for industrial or hardware-related applications.
  • Strong experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software systems.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, C/C++, Python, or comparable programming languages.
  • Experience with software-hardware interaction and machine control software.
  • Familiarity with structured software development processes, testing, and documentation.
  • Understanding of software architecture principles and best practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and explain technical concepts clearly to colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to support and mentor others.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country of hire and possess or be able to acquire a valid passport for possible international travel.
