Responsibilities
- Design and build secure secrets-management features and contribute to multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code architecture.
- Build and operate resilient Tier 0 services, participate in on-call, and debug distributed-systems issues.
- Implement cryptographic and zero-trust identity capabilities involving PKI, X.509, dynamic secrets, key rotation, device identity, and authentication.
- Develop secure credential-distribution features across heterogeneous networks with strict access controls.
- Review code, improve test coverage and tooling, mentor junior engineers, and evaluate human- or AI-generated code for quality, security, and performance.
- Use AI development tools, prompt engineering, and shared system context to produce secure, reliable, production-ready software.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience in a product-based software technology company.
- At least 3 years of development experience in public cloud environments; AWS is preferred and GCP is a plus.
- Strong programming expertise in Golang, Java, C#, Python, Rust, or C/C++.
- Experience building highly available, scalable services backed by relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
- Working knowledge of cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and distributed networking.
- Applied knowledge of cloud security design, secrets management, PKI/X.509, and OWASP principles; HashiCorp Vault experience is a plus.
- Ability to design and deliver well-architected components, collaborate across teams, and solve complex problems.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor, with advanced prompt-engineering skills.
