Responsibilities
- Build core ML systems powering a proactive, long-horizon AI product.
- Own data preparation, training, evaluation, inference, and iteration end to end.
- Translate research ideas into reliable production systems.
- Debug model failures and system issues using production signals.
- Monitor, resolve, and improve complex production issues with minimal disruption.
- Ensure training, inference, and data pipelines are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Drive measurable improvements based on real-world signals and user feedback.
- Mentor and review other ML engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with research, product, and engineering to integrate ML features and deliver user impact.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping machine learning systems used by real users.
- Understanding of how modern ML models behave and fail in production.
- Strong production-quality coding and systems thinking.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver ambiguous work through completion.
- Familiarity with Python, PyTorch or JAX, and GPU-based training and inference systems.
- Clear communication, rapid learning, and an iterative approach to improvement.
