Responsibilities
- Lead technical system analysis, solution design, and preparation of technical specifications based on functional requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, vendors, and offshore teams to deliver technical requirements.
- Support SIT and UAT test planning and execution, and manage defects and change requests through resolution.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and support the transition of systems from development into production.
- Monitor system performance, usage, resource consumption, risks, and vulnerabilities, and plan preventive improvements.
- Apply security patches, manage hardware and software EOL/EOS activities, and plan system upgrades.
- Investigate incidents at the application level, determine root causes and impacts, and implement workarounds and fixes.
- Develop the application roadmap, support strategic funding and project planning, communicate platform capabilities, and monitor cost of ownership.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of technical experience in software and application development within the financial industry.
- Proven experience with Copilot Dev-Ex or other AI coding technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with Java/J2EE, React, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM WAS, DB2, MQ, IIB, and Tungsten Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and exposure to Agile methodology.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and offshore teams and work independently while contributing as a team member.
