Responsibilities
- Define and champion a 12–18 month platform strategy.
- Provide thought leadership in designing AuthN and AuthZ architectures.
- Oversee architecture ensuring backward compatibility and data integrity.
- Set and uphold SLOs and error budgets for operational excellence.
- Ensure privacy and regulatory compliance while optimizing costs.
- Perform high-impact code reviews and performance optimizations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reusable platform components.
- Coach Senior and Staff level engineers to elevate engineering culture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional backend development experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin/Spring-based service development.
- Proven experience designing and operating web-scale microservices.
- Deep expertise in diagnosing mission-critical system failures.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
