Base Salary
$170k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable production services supporting thousands of queries per second and future order-of-magnitude growth.
- Implement systems to monitor performance at the microsecond and nanosecond levels.
- Drive engineering initiatives such as real-time data indexing at scale from specification and architecture through implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems, preferably in Rust, C++, C, or Go.
- At least 3 years of experience with Unix systems.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Ability to make informed engineering decisions based on relevant business context.
- Demonstrated high agency, willingness to explore unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude.
- Passion for decentralized finance.
- Preferred experience with blockchain technology, specifically Solana.
- Preferred experience in quant trading or fintech.
- Proficiency in Rust is preferred.
